11:30 'World Premiere' 'FOR THE LOVE OF CHILDREN' Documentary (Canada) (60 min)

Ashid Bahl is the courageous and passionate director of a new documentary film, For The Love of Children. It is based on Bahl’s life journey to help less fortunate children around the world, showing that even one person can make a big difference. This year marks the thirty-third anniversary of Bahl’s extensive aid work, and including his position as President and Founder of For The Love of Children Society. (Director attending)

20:00 AWARD NOMINATIONS

The closing ceremony will be hosted by BBC World News Journalist Babita Sharma with the President of Jury, universally praised film director Roland Joffé, Rosana Golden, Dean Bentley and members of the Jury.

British film and television producer Daniella Gonella and award-winning Russian poet and author Luba Balagova will present the Screenwriters Awards.

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

The festival director Rosana Golden and producer Dean Bentley would like to acknowledge the acclaimed directors David Lynch and Roland Joffé for their contribution to film with a lifetime achievement award.
